The area
Savuti is one of Botswana’s most storied wildlife regions. Its channel has alternated between flowing and dry over generations, shaping a dramatic landscape where animals adapt and predators rule.
Excellent in the dry season for concentrated wildlife. The green season brings migrant zebra, newborn animals and striking skies.
The wildlife
Powerful lion prides, elephants, hyena and occasional wild dog dominate the story, alongside zebra, wildebeest, giraffe and seasonal migrant herds.
