The area
Moremi protects a remarkable meeting place between the Okavango Delta’s waterways and the dry woodland of the Kalahari. Its variety makes every drive different and gives photographers a constantly changing backdrop.
Excellent throughout the year. The dry season concentrates animals around water; the green season offers lush scenery, young animals and dramatic light.
The wildlife
Lion, leopard, wild dog and spotted hyena share the reserve with elephant, buffalo, giraffe and large herds of plains game. The wetlands support outstanding birdlife.
